BOULDER-- With a Pac-12 South title on the line, the Buffs hosted the Utes at home in a sold out Folsom Field and one play drastically changed the game. The Utes came to Boulder to play spoiler but the Buffs defense would come up big against Utah.

Why was it important?

Colorado's Chidobe Awuzie had a game-saving touchdown against Utah after a Chris Graham kickoff and a Kyle Fulks run back to the Colorado 3-yard line. Fulks had found his way through Colorado's special teams and it looked like he had green grass in front of him to the end zone but Awuzie had different plans. Awuzie didn't give up on the play and showed his speed and chased Fulks down and pushed him out of bounds keeping him out of the end zone. Utah already had a punt ran back for a touchdown in this game and having a second one would have put them ahead of the Buffs but instead, Colorado's defense held Utah and forced them to a kick a field goal making the score 20-16 Colorado.
