Why was it important?
Isaiah Oliver was put in charge of punts returns after Jay MacIntyre went down with a concussion against Arizona State and Oliver showed his speed and skill during Colorado’s night game against UCLA. Oliver had two big punt returns including one that went for a game-winning touchdown, before Oliver’s return, the Buffs were only holding a three-point lead over the Bruins. Oliver had 124 yards on punt returns that night with his touchdown going for 68-yards. Oliver's touchdown caught the Bruins off guard and weren't able to battle back with five minutes left in the game.
