Leading up to the start of the regular season, CUSportsNation.com will be running through the Colorado football roster in reverse order.

Today, we continue with Nos. 20-17

(Note: The CU 2017 signees who enrolled this summer are excluded from this feature as they did not have officially assigned jersey numbers at the time that we began this series. Click here to learn more about the 2017 signees)

No. 20 - Drew Lewis

6-foot-2, 230-pounds

Inside Linebacker

Redshirt Junior

Sammamish, Wash.

Eastlake H.S./University of Washington/Coffeyville C.C.

Lewis signed with Washington out of high school but left UW after one season - transferring to Coffeyville in Kansas. Lewis was a special teams ace for the Buffs last season and saw action on defense in four games. He is set to make a jump in the starting lineup at inside linebacker this fall. Lewis was named the most improved linebacker after spring practices.

No. 19 - Michael Adkins

5-foot-10, 210-pounds

Running Back

Redshirt Senior

San Diego, Calif.

Helix H.S.

Adkins was 8th on the team last year in rushing attempts and saw action in just three games. Adkins, who suffered a season-ending hamstring injury as a junior in 2015 that allowed him to medically redshirt, is battling with Beau Bisharat for the No. 2 running back spot.

No. 18 - Lee Walker

6-foot, 180-pounds

Wide Receiver

Redshirt Junior

San Diego, Calif.

James Madison H.S.

Walker signed with Arizona in the class of 2013 but took a year off from football to improve his test scores, and he ended up with the Buffs in 2014. The past two seasons, Walker has caught three passes for 36 yards, and with the crazy amount of depth the Buffs have, Walker might not see many more passes come his way this season.

No. 17 - Casey Marksberry

6-foot-3, 185-pounds

Quarterback

Redshirt Freshman

Gwinnett, Ga.

Waunakee H.S. [Wis.]

The walk on quarterback was listed as the No. 4 passer in the "pencil" pre-fall depth chart behind Montez, Noyer, and Lytle. He was picked as the 2016 offensive scout player of the year during his freshman season in which he redshirted.

No. 17 - Kabion Ento

6-foot-3, 185-pounds

Wide Receiver

Senior

Pine Bluff, Ark.

Dollarway H.S./East Central C.C.

Colorado's depth is insanely deep at wide receiver with stars returning in Shay Fields, Bryce Bobo, and Devin Ross, but don't forget about Kabion Ento, who arguably was the best wide receiver during spring practices. He was named the most improved offensive back following spring practices. There is a possibility that Ento will use a redshirt year so that he can become the focal point of the wide receiver group in 2018.
