Coaching Breakdown
The Colorado Football Coaching Staff is a mix of somewhat veteran and new blood. Mike MacIntyre now in his 4th season along with Lindgren, but Leavitt and Chiaverini are new to the program, however, both have made an instant impact on the team.
Last week Lindgren called the game against Colorado State, it was as close to a masterpiece as you could get in week one with the offense putting up 578-yards (318-yards passing/260-yards rushing).
On the defensive side of the football, Leavitt's defensive corps allowed just 225-yards and just 12 first downs during the entire game.
For the Bengals Head Coach Mike Kramer is the first and only D1 coach to be named Conference Coach of the Year at three different schools in the same league. Kramer was the Head Coach at Montana State in 2006 when the Bobcats beat the Buffs 19-10.
