BOULDER-- With Colorado losing some many playmakers on defense, it's only right to think that other guys on the defense are going to have to step up and makes plays and the Buff secondary is losing three starting guys so this next guy on the list, although he is experienced he is going to have a bigger role this season, as a leader and one of the more experienced guys in the secondary this season. Coming in at number two is, football and track star, Isaiah Oliver. Tomorrow the number one guy will come out but to recap, Nick Fisher came in at number three, N.J. Falo at number four and Juwann Winfree at number five.

No. 2 Isaiah Oliver
Oliver will enter his junior year as the top corner Colorado has after losing Chidobe Awuzie and Ahkello Witherspoon. After going from a freshman that barely saw the field and learning from the veterans to a guy who played in all 13 games and started two, Oliver is now one the most experienced cornerbacks Colorado has to offer this season. Last year he had 25 tackles on the year, broke up 13 passes to tie for third on the team, had one interception and recorded seven third-down stops. He also took over punt return duties midway through the season, where he excelled especially against UCLA where he returned one for a touchdown and was named Pac-12 Speical Teams Player of the Week. Oliver has great cover skills, great speed, and good hands and is a shoe-in for one of the starting roles at corner this upcoming season. By his senior year, I can see Oliver becoming that corner that other Pac-12 quarterbacks are scared to throw to because of his abilities to make plays. Also what is nice about Oliver is he is constantly gaining more confidence and continuing to stay in playing shape by being on the track team. He recently broke two Colorado track records that had been held for over 20 years. Oliver is going to be a big asset at corner this year for the Buffs and should be fun to watch.
