Colorado extended an offer to a prospect in a state that's not exactly a recruiting hotbed for them.

Kyle Wright from Columbia, South Carolina at Ben Lippen School received the offer from the Buffs, and it was a special offer for him. He already had several FBS scholarship offers, but he didn't have a Power Five offer until Colorado.

"I got in contact with coach ShaDon Brown, who is the DB's coach, a couple of months ago," Wright told CUSportsNation.com. "We talked a little; we had a good relationship. We stopped talking for a couple of weeks, then my coach told me that I needed to call coach Brown. We talked for a little bit, and he told me that they were offering me."

Colorado offered him as an outside linebacker/safety recruit, which is called the "Buff" spot in CU's 3-4 defense. Some of his other offers are as a running back/athlete.
