1. The Trojans are coming off a couple of good wins against the Arizona schools. Is USC primed for a strong finish down the stretch of the season, much like we saw last year?

I think USC will finish strongly. I think USC has a top tier type team in terms of talent. I don't think Colorado or UCLA present much of a challenge because of the talent gap. I expect USC to win big before eventually heading to the Pac-12 title game because I think they're just much better than these last two teams.

2. It seems from the outside like Sam Darnold's season has been up and down. What is your evaluation of the Trojans' signal caller?

I think he's one of the best quarterbacks in the entire country, but he had a bit of a slump while surrounded by a young and injured offensive line and a young group of receivers. All of that combined makes it look like a big slump. The USC coaching staff also doesn't have the resume to make me feel completely comfortable with certain play calls. If all the pieces are around Sam Darnold, I think he plays like one of the best in the country. He's still managed to show why he's a high ceiling NFL prospect in a few games.

3. Who should Colorado fans know about on USC's defense?

Uchenna Nwosu. He's one of a few players to know but he's explosive at the SAM linebacker spot. He makes an impact in all phases of the game and he gets his hands on a lot of footballs. He's a special athlete and it shows up since he plays closer to the football than most with his qualities.

4. What's your score prediction and why?

USC 41-24. I think Colorado is the type of team USC can blow out, and I think the Trojans probably will. Being on the road will make it a little tougher for USC, and the Trojans won't put it away until late against a worn down Buffaloes' defense.
