Sacramento (Calif.) Burbank defensive end Tava Finau announced his intentions to play for the Colorado Buffaloes' football program late on Wednesday night. CUSportsNation.com weighs in on the commitment in the story below.

THE COMMITMENT
Things came together pretty quickly in Finau's recruitment. Before his official visit, Colorado and Washington State were the top schools for the three-star recruit with several Mountain West schools on the two Pac-12 programs' heels.
Finau's high school team had a bye week this past weekend, so the Colorado staff played it smart and got him on campus for an official visit. Finau had also set up an official visit with Washington State for November.
Following the Colorado official visit, Finau raved about his time in Boulder and decided just two days after the visit that he wanted to commit to Colorado.
His area recruiter, Klayton Adams, and position coach, Jim Jeffcoat, both tweeted out the Buff signal on Tuesday afternoon. It took until late Wednesday night for Finau to announce the news of his commitment.
In his announcement tweet, Finau thanked all of the schools that offered him scholarships, which gives one good reason to think that Finau is solid with his CU commitment. I don't expect him to take the previously scheduled Washington State visit.
