Sacramento (Calif.) Burbank defensive lineman Tava Finau took in the University of Colorado over the weekend for his official visit. Finau is the first high school recruit that CU has hosted for an official visit during the 2018 recruiting cycle.

"Colorado is a great place," Finau said. "They fed us, a lot. I mean, a lot. I never was hungry, which I really liked. We went over the academics, which is great at Colorado. The place itself and the scenery is really beautiful.

"The coaches there are strict but they're like sweet and sour if that makes sense. They know what to teach you and how to do it right, but at the same time, they're really cool to hang with."

The Colorado coaches expressed that Finau would be a great player, as did Finau's host for the visit, freshman safety Isaiah Lewis.
