Colorado's Student Section "C-Unit" Getting National Praise

Marshmallow throwing aside, the Colorado Student Section was fantastic Thursday evening. In Colorado’s 20-10 victory over UCLA which was nationally televised on Fox Sports 1, the Colorado Student Section aka “C-Unit” got pub from the Fox Sports Broadcast Team as they did perform an excellent rendition of the Icelandic Soccer Team’s Viking War Chant.

The chant which will give you chills starts out with a slow rhythmic clap then gets faster and faster. Another fantastic sight was the Student Section who wore all black created the perfect layout reading “The Rise” which could be viewed perfectly from across the field.

While the players and coaches of Colorado’s No. 15th ranked team are going to garner continued headlines, let’s not forget that these students play a vital role in creating a true home field advantage atmosphere at Folsom Field. Colorado is 4-0 at home this season, 5-0 when playing in the State of Colorado. So while the fans are cheering for the team, we hope that the players are recognizing one of the top rising student sections in the entire Country.
