Colorado Football Signee: Aaron Maddox
The Buffs getting a commitment from Tucson (Ariz.) Pima C.C. cornerback Aaron Maddox was a huge pickup, and Maddox is officially a Colorado Buffalo with his signing on Wednesday. Maddox took official visits to N.C. State, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Arizona State as well, but he enjoyed Colorado the most, and the Buffs were also his first scholarship offer. The JuCo All-American safety will come to Colorado as a true sophomore and is enrolling in January.
Quotable: "The Colorado visit was nice," Maddox said about his official trip to CU. "The highlight for me was meeting the head coach [Mike MacIntyre] and just talking about defensive backs and all his history behind it. ... "They're great guys with plenty of experience in the defensive back world and very kind. "Their main pitch was how they need me, how early I can play, and where I fit in perfectly."
