Colorado added an exciting athlete to their 2018 commitment list in Mill Creek (Wash.) Jackson wide receiver Daniel Arias.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder visited Colorado a couple of weeks ago with his Team FSP 7v7 teammates and the head coach of FSP, Tracy Ford.

To get more insight on Arias, CUSportsNation.com caught up with Ford, who who played college football for the Idaho Vandals, and also is the CEO of the Ford Sports Performance Facility in Bellevue, Wash.

"Colorado is getting a blue collar, hard working young man that posses all the natural gifts you want to see in a Power 5 conference player," Ford said. "He has the height, weight, speed, body control, and natural hands. His linear speed and ability to high point balls on top of his work ethic is what makes him special."

What is Arias best at, and what does he need to work on?

"He excels the best when the ball is in the air and going up to catch the ball over defenders," Ford answered. "He needs to become a more polished when playing against press coverage."

Ford compares to Paul Richardson because of Arias' ability to "use his speed and stretch the field."

Not only is Colorado getting a great player on the field, they're getting a great one off the field as well.

"Daniel has a wonderful story behind him," Ford explained. "He moved to the U.S. from Dominican Republic in his early teen years. He is one of the most humble kids you will meet. He is a kid that will work his butt off for you because he is always trying to do everything to become a better player."
