Colorado has their newest football commitment.

Clyde Moore, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect, announced his intentions to play for the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday afternoon. He is rated as a three-star prospect and can play either inside or outside linebacker. Colorado is recruiting him as an inside linebacker.

Colorado offered Moore a scholarship on April 22 and received it from inside linebackers coach Ross Els. Moore met Els briefly at his high school, Corona Del Mar, and spent a lot of time with him at the University of Redlands camp that had CU coaches present at.

"Coach Els is a great coach," said Moore. "Knowing that he's coached some NFL guys, he's the real deal."

Moore is Colorado's eighth football commitment for their 2018 recruiting class.

Recruiting is certainly heating up for Colorado as big time prospects converge in Boulder for visits. Stay tuned to CUSportsNation.com for your recruiting fix.
