THE COMMITMENT

Moore has not visited Colorado yet, but he has spent a lot of time talking with the Colorado coaching staff. With Colorado likely only taking one high school inside linebacker, Moore decided that he'd jump on the offer instead of wait around and lose it to someone else.

Moore, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound three-star recruit, was offered by Colorado on April 22. Right away, he had very high interest in the Buffs. Moore had already heard great things about the campus and Boulder as a city.

Inside linebackers coach Ross Els extended the offer to Moore, and Els gets the credit as the primary recruiter in landing Moore.

Moore was at the University of Redlands camp earlier this month and worked out with the CU coaches, who were coaching at the camp. Moore really enjoyed his time working out for Els.

"It was great. I went down with a couple of buddies from my team," Moore said a couple of weeks ago. "I got to talk with coach Els a ton and coach MacIntyre. Basically, I talked with the whole Colorado coaching staff. I got to really talk with them and work with them."

Sources indicated to CUSportsNation.com that a commitment from Moore was very likely, and Moore announced the news himself on Saturday.
