Breaking: Just one day after visiting Boulder, Colorado on an official visit Xavier Newman has decommitted from Texas. In a tweet, the 6-foot-4, 285 pound offensive tackle out of DeSoto, Texas released a statement via twitter. "I would like to thank the University of Texas for everything but after praying about it and talking with my family I have decided to decommit from Texas. I would like to say thank you to you Charlie Strong, the coaching staff, and the fans." Newman holds a Colorado offer and was on campus this weekend to watch Colorado beat Arizona State 40-16.
