For the next couple of weeks, CUSportsNation.com is going position by position and taking a look at the top three targets that Colorado has offered a scholarship.

Could we go with all four and five star prospects? Sure. But we're looking at the top options that have mutual and legitimate interest in Colorado.

Wide receiver outlook: Colorado brought in a big wide receiver class in 2017, so we don't expect them to sign very many receivers in the 2018 class. The Buffs are looking at some big outside receivers to help replace the guys they are losing after the next couple of seasons. CU does not currently have a receiver commitment for the 2018 class.

No. 3 - Dimitri Stanley

Rundown: Stanley has held off from making an early commitment, and his offer list has increased in doing so. Arizona State, Cal, and Indiana have offered in the past few weeks. Nebraska is a threat to Colorado here, but we still feel as if the Buffs are the team to beat in Stanley's recruitment. They're the big time in-state school, Stanley's father has a connection with CU, and the Buffs were one of his first big time offers.
