Sefo Liufau leads Colorado Quarterbacks again in 2016

Don't Miss: Fall Camp Schedule Here | Fall Camp Roster | Message Boards

Entering his senior year Sefo Liufau leads the Colorado Quarterback unit once again. Just as he has the last two seasons and though his junior season was cut short due to a Lisfranc Foot Fracture he suffered in the later part of the season against USC, Liufau still managed to throw for 2,418-yards and 9 touchdowns. Fully healthy and looking sharp as he ever has during fall camp, even down some 15 pounds, Liufau should be primed for his best year ever as a Buffalo.

“I think Sefo can be extremely special this year. You’ve seen him, 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. He’s streamlined, he can run the football, he can throw it. He’s broke 75 records at our school without our team really being as high as he’s been. Now we are. And he has the tools surrounding him. I think he can make a lot of plays and do a lot of good things for us, and he doesn’t have to make all the plays now. We’ve got other guys that can do it. So I think that kind of takes a little bit of the pressure off of him, which allows you to make some plays more than you probably would have if you tried to press yourself to do it, and he understands and sees that with the talent around him,” Said Head Colorado Football Coach Mike MacIntyre on Sefo earlier this summer.

Liufau has thrown for 7,397-yards career wise at Colorado since 2013
