Who's Leaving?
There are just four players that are not returning to Colorado's 2017 football team that caught passes during the 2016 season.
One of those guys is quarterback Sefo Liufau, who caught a 14 yard pass. Walk on Joseph Hall caught one pass in 2016, and he is no longer with the team. Tight end Chris Hill is graduating after catching one pass in 2016 (that went for a touchdown against Idaho State).
Sean Irwin was the main tight end that saw the field in 2016, but he was used as a blocker. His lone catch on the season went for 15 yards against Oklahoma State.
With that being said, Colorado's receiving corps might just be their strongest unit on the team. The group of tight ends leaves much to be desired though.
