No. 3 Akil Jones
We don't expect Akil Jones to start at inside linebacker this fall at the beginning of the season, but the former three-star 2016 recruit has been turning heads this spring, according to the Colorado coaching staff.
Jones, who as a recruit held other offers from Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah State, and others, is likely behind guys like Rick Gamboa, Drew Lewis, and Addison Gilliam. But all reports out of Boulder are positive concerning Jones as a redshirt freshman that media and the coaching staff are intrigued with.
