Following a weekend official visit to CU Boulder, Wichita Falls (Texas) Hirschi defensive tackle Lloyd Murray has announced his commitment to the Buffaloes.

He adds a big defensive line class for the Buffaloes, joining Jeremiah Doss (6-4, 260), Janaz Jordan (6-4, 305), Na'im Rodman (6-3, 290), Jayden Simon (6-4, 290), and Austin Williams (6-4, 306), and Jaunta'vius Johnson (6-2, 326).

Murray was recruited by wide receivers coach Darrin Chiaverini and defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh. The Buffs' previous coaching staff originally offered Murray in 2017, but they didn't keep in much contact.

"They really jumped on me heavy towards the end of the early signing period," Murray previously told CUSportsNation.com. "They could use another DT."

Over the course of his recruitment, Murray has been a coveted prospect, and was committed to Florida State and Ole Miss at various times. Murray has reported offers from some of the biggest schools in the country, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.

As a senior for Hirschi, Murray recorded 39 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
