He was down by thousands of votes just days ago and made one final plea to his 1,469 followers on twitter asking for help in voting. Then on Monday Night and Tuesday morning, thousands of Colorado Football fans voted to make Grant Polley a 6-foot-5, 275 pound Offensive Tackle an Under Amour All-American.
The Colorado pledge went up against Brock Wellsfry an offensive lineman that is committed to Oregon State in a fan vote off that would send the two prospects with the most votes to the Under Amour All-American Game. Wellsfry led in votes for days, until the final 24 hours.
The final two Grand Prize winners (Polley is now one) will win a seven (7) day/six (6) night trip to Orlando, Florida in connection with the All-America Game where winner will have the opportunity to participate in the All-America Game as a football player.
"I can't thank them (Colorado fans) enough for sticking through even when it looked really bad and for having my back. But know just because this happened, does not mean that work stops," Said Polley just minutes after being named an All-American.
