Auburn graduate transfer tight end Jalen Harris announced on social media that he is transferring to the University of Colorado.
"Thank God for another opportunity to let me showcase my skills," Harris wrote on Instagram. "This is a dream come true. I am excited to announce that I have committed to the University of Colorado to continue my education and football career! Thank you to everyone involved and this is just the beginning!"
Harris, who stands at 6-foot-4, 257-pounds, left the Auburn program in September and posted on Twitter last week that Colorado, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Troy, and Kansas State were the schools he'd be choosing from this week.
Following a weekend official visit at CU, Harris decided it was time to commit to the Buffaloes.
He will have one year to play and will give the Buffs' tight end group a big boost.
It seems that the tight end position will be important to new offensive coordinator Jay Johnson and the Buffs are looking to add more players at the position.
At Auburn, Harris didn't have eye popping statistics, catching four passes for 33 yards, but he hopes to get more opportunities to catch the ball at CU.
Defensive lineman Austin Williams also pledged to Colorado on Sunday.
