Williams high on the Buffs again

After long conversations with his mother and his coach at Riverview (Fla.) Spoto, Terence Williams recently decided to back off his verbal commitment to Louisville. The three-star athlete prospect now plans to take all five of his official visits before making a final decision.
Williams claims more than 20 scholarship offers and out of those options, he said Monday he currently favors the Buffaloes. Williams was originally planning to take an unofficial visit to Boulder this summer, but he now plans to wait to take an official visit to Colorado in the fall.

"I really like talking with Colorado and hearing how well they feel I could fit into their program, on either side of the ball," he said. "They feel I could come in and get on the field as a freshman.
"I also like Colorado because it is supposed to be a good environment over there and they have new facilities they just built. [Buffs defensive coordinator and linebackers] coach [Jim] Leavitt said he wants to get to work with me because I have the talent to make it to the league (NFL). He said I am just a playmaker."
Williams admits his dream schools are Oregon and Florida State. Neither program has offered yet, but both are recruiting him.
"I went to Florida State for a track meet and I really liked it," Williams said. "I like Oregon because of their up-tempo offense. I think I could fit in really well as a receiver there.
"I was thinking I would like to take official visits to Oregon, Florida State and Colorado," he added. "Those are the only three I have right now but I am sure there will be more as we go. I would like to take all five visits."
Some colleges are recruiting Williams for receiver, some like him as a defensive back, while others like Colorado are simply recruiting him as an athlete. He plays on both sides of the ball for Spoto and is also a dynamic returner.
Duke, NC State, Rutgers, South Florida and Wake Forest are some of the other colleges that have offered Williams. He said Louisville is still in the mix for his signature, but he did not mention the Cardinals when taking about his official visit plans.
Williams said he is glad to be back on the market, and is excited to keep developing relationships with college coaches.
"I like recruiting, I am not going to let it get too stressful," he said. "I liked what Louisville was telling me about how I could start my freshman year but it just seemed to be in my best interest to open my recruiting back up and give everyone a shot."
