Trey Udoffia had a pretty good redshirt freshman season. In just nine games, the California native led cornerbacks in tackles and tackles-for-loss. Udoffia also finished second in plays, pass-break-ups and interceptions.
Junior Isaiah Oliver, who declared for the 2018 NFL Draft, led the team in those three categories. Now Udoffia is expected to step into the role that Oliver held last season and lead the cornerback group back to the level of play that fans have grown accustomed to from Colorado.
