Head Coach

Colorado Head Football Coach Mike MacIntyre is having a storybook season at 7-2 and 5-1 in conference. He's surrounding himself with high caliber coaching talent and good very well win the NCAA Coach of the Year Award.

In his fifth year of coaching the Arizona Wildcats this could be the first year that Rich Rodriguez does not lead his team to a bowl game. Last year Arizona won 7 games and in 2014 the Wildcats played for the PAC 12 Title game.

Offensive Coordinator

Brian Lindgren and Darrin Chiaverini share the title of offensive coordinator for Colorado and have caught some crictisim lately as the Buffs have scored just two touchdowns in the last two games. Overall, however Colorado is scoring 33 points per game and racking up 474 yards per game.

Calvin MaGee and Rod Smith run the offense for the Wildcats. Currently, the Wildcats are scoring just 22 points per game, but do have an average of racking up 400-yards per game which is noteworthy considering their overall record. In their last two games they have scored just 17 points.

Defensive Coordinator

Jim Leavitt who is in his second year with CU as the DC has the Buffs' defense ranked nationally. This season CU is allowing just 296 yards per game and 17 points scored per game. Opponents who have faced CU this year have a 3rd down efficiency of 30%.

The Defensive Coordinator of Arizona is Marcel Yates who is in his first season. Previous to being named the DC at Arizona he was the DC at Boise State. Arizona is allowing 475-yards per game this year and giving up 37.1 points per game.

Quarterbacks

Senior QB Sefo Liufau did not have his best game against UCLA throwing for 19 of 30 for 143-yards and 2 ints, but overall he has been steady. This season he has thrown for 1,322-yards, has a completion percentage of 66.7 and a TD/Int ratio of 7/2.

Arizona played JR Anu Solomon against WSU last week, he was 9 of 13 for 122-yards with a TD. On the season Brandon Dawkins has been their main man throwing for 1,058-yards and 6 TDs and also rushing for 653-yards and 8 touchdowns.

Running Backs

Colorado Running Back Phillip Lindsay is having a monster year rushing for 818-yards of 143 carries which is 3rd in the PAC 12. He has also scored 10 TDs and caught 33 passes for 303-yards. So. Kyle Evans has 343-yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Wildcats leading rushing is QB Brandon Dawkins who as mentioned has 653-yards and 8 TDs. Second on the team in rushing is Nick Wilson who has 331-yards, but the starter for this weekend is Samajie Grant who has 174-yards of 27 attempts.
