BOULDER-- Colorado will hold their annual spring scrimmage tomorrow, here are some things you should look for tomorrow at Folsom Field.

Three position battles to watch

1. Sam Noyer vs Tyler Lytle

It’s been known since the end of last season that Steven Montez was the obvious front-runner for the starting quarterback job on day one but there has been some discussion about the number two guy. Tomorrow at the spring game is going to be a great opportunity to watch two guys, Sam Noyer and Tyler Lytle. Both guys don't have any college game experience but have stepped up to the plate this spring. People have raved about Noyer’s accuracy compared to all the other quarterbacks. Coach MacIntyre has also been impressed with how Lytle has picked up the offensive in the three short weeks of spring practices. Right now it seems like Noyer will be the backup but don't be surprised to see Lytle make some plays tomorrow during the scrimmage.

2. Dante Wigley vs Anthony Julmisse

With Colorado losing two starting corners they now are looking for one more replacement to play opposite of Isaiah Oliver. The two in competition are Anthony Julmisse and Dante Wigley. Tomorrow you will probably see both guys on the field at the same time with one playing the nickel which could be how you will see them during the season also. Right now it looks like Julmisse is edging Wigley out for the other corner position but there is no doubt that Wigley will see the field a lot also next season.
