Smith wants to check out Colorado
Colorado extended an offer to Houston (Texas) Second Baptist all-purpose back Deion Smith on April 23. The Buffaloes joined the likes of Northwestern, Utah, TCU, and Iowa State on Smith's offer list.
Smith's recruitment has picked up this spring.
"Recruiting was a little bit slow last month, but it's picking back up big time now - in the last week or so," Smith said.
Colorado's new inside linebackers coach Ross Els extended the offer to the 6-foot, 180-pound three-star recruit.
