"It went well, its beautiful, the grass is awesome, we got a good field, so were excited about that. So it's really nice, it went well. It's a good location, we come right up in from the indoor in here," Coach MacIntyre on the first practice at the new field.

The team will use both the IPF and the outdoor field simultaneously allowing for more room during practice.

Isaiah Oliver is one of those special athletes that plays two sports at The University of Colorado and when he's not practicing football he's on the track.

"The track probably keeps giving him more confidence cause he scored points in track in two events, which is pretty impressive when he didn't start till after spring practice really. I think it gave him more confidence. Football wise he's a little bit stronger, little bit quicker, has more knowledge of whats going on."

It's not hard to tell when looking at the depth chart that the cornerbacks are running low on experienced guys. With only Ahkello Witherspoon, Chidobe Awuzie and Isaiah Oliver being veterans on the team, Coach MacIntyre and the staff are starting to get some of the young guys ready incase they need them.

"We're looking at those guys and then Anthony Julmisse too, so we got those guys we'll see what happens on Friday night and how much we need them or don't need them," on Ronnie Blackmon and Trey Udoffia.

With special teams always being in question for the Buffs they are finally starting narrow down who the kick and punt returners will be.

"We've pretty much narrowed it down to who we are going to have doing our kick returns and punt returns and who the back-ups are,"

The Buffs don't always keep it serious in practice as last night they had offensive lineman Sam Kronshage catch a punt.

"We had a contest last night and he caught it so it was good. He kept bragging he could catch one and he did."

The Buffs are holding on walk-on tryouts today and will take the day off tomorrow before getting back out there Monday to begin preparation for Colorado State.
