"We worked on CSU some today."

The starting spots are going to be something to watch for, there are some tough position battles going on and the starting lineup might not be finalized until game day.

"Some of them are cemented and some of them will go down to the wire. In the game some of those positions will play a couple guys if theres not a huge separation. If you got two guys that are pretty close to even and if one of them is getting tired."

The race between backup quarterback has been a battle to watch all through out August and they still aren't sure who will win that spot.

"No not exactly not yet, we feel good about Montez and Gerhke, so we'll just keep looking at that."

Timothy Coleman has began to find a home at the defensive end position and should be a factor this year in the the rotation.

"Tim did well in the spring, we've moved him inside a little bit and he's done really well in there, he's beefed up, he's gained about 25 pounds, holding the weight well and running well. He's had a good fall camp and I do agree with you, I think he has found a home in there,"

The schedule has changed now that classes have officially started for the players. Which means they have less time on the field.

"Instead of us having meetings with them this afternoon, I'll be checking classrooms this afternoon, making sure there in class. We'll meet with them back again in the mornings with them now instead of all day."

Practice will continue in the morning and the team will slowly dive into their preparation for the Rocky Mountain Showdown.
