After Geordon Porter's junior season at Etiwanda (Calif.), he did not have a single scholarship offer. It actually took until February 27 for the 6-foot-2, 175-pound recruit to land his first offer - from Arizona State.

Now, Porter has a double digit offer list that includes Pac-12 and SEC programs. One of his most recent offers came from the Colorado Buffaloes.

"It was great; it comes from the Pac-12," Porter said. "The stadium is nice. The sunset behind the mountains is really nice. All around, it's just a nice area. I like the offensive coordinator [Darrin Chiaverini]. He played [professional football] for seven years. He knows his stuff."

Chiaverini visited Porter's high school on Monday and then got on the phone with Porter later that day. That's when Chiaverini delivered the offer to Porter.
