Oklahoma City (Okla.) Millwood defensive tackle Israel Antwine was one of several recruits to land an offer from Colorado last Friday.

Defensive tackle is a spot of need for CU in the class of 2018, and Antwine jumped into the mix of CU's interior defensive lineman targets.

"It came about pretty quickly," Antwine said of the offer from CU. "I heard that coach Eliot came up to my school and was hoping to see me, but I wasn't there. My coaches gave him a bit of information about me. Eliot left saying saying I received an offer from Colorado."

While Antwine wasn't at his high school during the time that Eliot hoped to bump into him, they have had conversation(s) on the phone.

"He was talking about how I have great film and that I should plan to make a visit to Colorado," Antwine said.
