The month of July is shaping up to be a great one for the Colorado Buffaloes on the recruiting front.

CU landed a wide receiver commitment from Daniel Arias earlier in the month, and the Buffs might land a few more in the very near future.

Independence (Kan.) Community College cornerback Delrick Abrams Jr. is announcing his commitment on Friday, and the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is deciding between Colorado, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma State.

Abrams has visited all three schools, and the Buffs received his last visit last month.

"It went pretty well," Abrams said of the visit. "Boulder is a nice place to be at and I liked the coaching staff. The players were nice.

"My favorite part was seeing the mountains and meeting the coaching staff. I liked hanging with the players and seeing what everyone does."

Greenwood Village (Colo.) Cherry Creek wide receiver Dimitri Stanley will be announcing his commitment on Saturday. Stanley holds Power Five conference offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, and others.

Stanley never named any final favorite schools, but we believe that Colorado, Utah, and Arizona State are the finalists.

Stanley's father is Walter Stanley, who played for Colorado for two years and ended up transferring to Colorado Mesa. The elder Stanley was a fourth round draft pick in the 1985 NFL Draft and played in the NFL for seven years with five different teams.

Not only is Colorado hosting their big BBQ event for their top prospects to attend on July 22, the Buffs are having various other recruits visiting as well.

Missouri City (Texas) Hightower safety Hasaan Hypolite, for example, is expected to visit Colorado on July 20.
