2017 Outlook: Worthington recorded 86 total tackles, which was nearly triple of what he had as a freshman and sophomore, and was No. 3 in the team in the category. He also had several tackles for loss, including a sack. Worthington totaled seven pass break ups, two forced fumbles, and a team high three interceptions. He started every game of the season other than the season opener against CSU.

2018 Projection: With the departure of Ryan Moeller, the Buffs have a void at the Buff backer hybrid position, and Worthington can play that spot if JuCo transfer Davion Taylor is not ready to take the lead. Worthington can also play either safety spot with Nick Fisher. Worthington is very talented in terms of his production and versatility, but there's no doubt that he needs to improve in his one-on-one tackling ability, as does the entire defense that returns from last season. His pass coverage skills are strong, and we're excited to see what Worthington can do in his senior season this fall.
