The recruiting process for Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt defensive end/offensive tackle Andy Koch has been heating up in the last month. BYU was Koch's first offer back on April 18, and since then, he's added offers from Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Harvard, Oregon State, and Washington State.

"It's been a blessing," Koch said. "My defensive line coach asked me if I thought I'd make it this far, and I honestly didn't."

Koch's most recent offer came from Colorado.

"The Colorado coach came down and watched practice," Koch said. "My coach told me to be patient with it, and one day, my head coach called me into his office and gave me his phone, and I talked with offensive coordinator at Colorado. That's how it went down."

It was co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini that came to Koch's practice and extended the offer. When Koch talked to Chiaverini on the phone, that was the first time talking that wasn't on Twitter direct messaging.
