Rundown: Davion Taylor's commitment is an interesting one. CUSportsNation.com first reported that the JuCo inside linebacker was committed to the Buffaloes, but when Taylor actually committed to Colorado is a different story. Taylor told us that he told the CU coaching staff that he wanted to commit back in April, but we don't believe it was accepted back then.

In the grand scheme of things, when Taylor's commitment was accepted is not very important. Colorado needed immediate depth at inside linebacker while younger guys like Jonathan Van Diest and Nate Landman develop.

Analysis: "Taylor looks like a great fit as an outside linebacker at the next level who can blitz off the edge, is excellent in pursuit and squares up well as a sure tackler. He's rangy and physical although he needs to add some strength and will have trouble with second level offensive linemen. He adds athleticism and speed for the Buffs right away on defense." -Rivals.com National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell
