On Friday night, Joshka Gustav and Aquinas High School will play in the CIF Southern Section high school playoffs against Cypress.

Aquinas has been absolutely rolling this season as they are 12-0 and their closest game this season was a 20 point win. Gustav, a Colorado outside linebacker commit, has been enjoying his team's success this year.

"It's been going pretty well," said Gustav. "Our team is really stacked. We're rolling through everybody. But it's going to be tough in the semifinals."

Gustav plays outside linebacker, tight end, and interestingly enough, punt returner. At 6-foot-3, 220-pounds, Gustav isn't your typical punt returner. He does have a punt return touchdown this season.

"Our team struggled with catching the ball as a punt returner, so they put me back there to fair catch it, but one time, I saw a lane and took off," Gustav said. "But I'm pretty much back there to catch the ball for field position."
