Head Coach

Mike Leach is in his 5th season at Washington State as Head Coach. Last season Leach was named Co-Coach of the Year with Stanford's David Shaw after leading the Cougars to a 9-4 season. Previous stops to WSU include 10 seasons as Head Coach at Texas Tech and one year as the Oklahoma Offensive Coordinator. Leach has won over 113 games.

Colorado Head Football Coach Mike MacIntyre is having an incredible season at the helm of the Buffs. It's CU's best season since 2002 when the Buffs won 9 games. This is the first time since 2004 that CU has won 8 games and the first time the Buffs are ranked within the Top 10 in 15 seasons. MacIntyre should be up for some national awards at season's end.

WSU

Offensive

Coordinator

The Cougars have one of the top offenses in the nation and have scored a total of 125 points in the last two games. Mike Leach is their OC and has the Cougars ranked 10th in the Nation in total yards averaging 517.5 per game and 4th in the nation in scoring at 44.8 per game, WSU is red hot.

Colorado's offense found their rhythm again last week against Arizona scoring 49 points, their season average per game is 35.2 ppg and the offense is averaging 465.8 yards per game under Co-Offensive Coordinators Brian Lindgren and Darrin Chiaverini.

WSU

Defensive

Coordinator

In his second season as DC Alex Grinch was an award finalist for the Broyles Award which goes to the Nation's top assistant coach. Currently WSU is allowing 24.3 ppg and 388.5 yards per game. WSU's rush defense is allowing just 116.9-yards per game, a stat which is 19th in the country.

Jim Leavitt is without question one of the top defensive coordinators in college football. He has the Buffs ranked 12th in the nation in yards allowed per game (176.9), the defense has forced at least one turnover in 22nd consecutive games, and their red-zone defense is ranked 2nd in the nation.
