When you hear about a player leaving a division one program to go to a junior college school, your first thought might be off the field issues.

In the case of Greg Eisworth, that is not the case. In fact, Eisworth's grades are off the charts and is not in any trouble. Eisworth decided to leave Ole Miss after one season due to a nagging hamstring injury.

"The treatment plan wasn't working," Eisworth said. "I met with a doctor out here in Dallas, and between the fall and when school started again in January, I recovered with him. I got to Trinity Valley, so my plan is to recover, play a season there, get recruited, and go somewhere."

Eisworth redshirted his freshman year at Ole Miss and enrolled at Trinity Valley C.C. in Athens, Texas for his redshirt freshman season. When he arrives at his next college, he will be a redshirt sophomore.

Right now, the Colorado Buffaloes are the lone school that has offered him. Assistant Director of Recruiting A.J. Baer has been keeping in touch with Eisworth over the past few weeks.
