Houston (Texas) Clear Lake offensive tackle Frank Fillip committed to Colorado on Friday, and the reasons he committed to the Buffs has made Fillip a fan favorite.

"First of all, I wasn't even planning on going to visit Colorado, but at the last moment, I decided I might as well go and check it out," Fillip said. "From the moment I landed at the airport to the moment when I took off to leave, I loved everything I saw.

"I loved the city, I loved the coaches and staff, I loved the campus, and I loved the view. I just loved everything."

Fillip was leaning towards playing his college football in the state of Texas with Baylor being the likely frontrunner. However, after seeing Boulder in person, Fillip knew that Colorado was the place for him.
