Kabion Ento played his first season at Colorado in 2016 after transferring from East Central Community College. He caught eight passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns and also saw time on special teams.

Ento had a fantastic spring in 2017, winning the most improved offensive back award. However, with the return of Bryce Bobo, Shay Fields, and Devin Ross, the Colorado staff thought it was best that Ento redshirt in 2017.

It was probably a tough pill for Ento to swallow initially, but Ento knows that it was the best decision for his future, as he probably wouldn't have had the opportunity last season to have a starting role, which he is likely to have this fall.

"Every day, I came to practice and worked. I did whatever coach told me to do," Ento said about redshirting last year. "All you can do is control your effort and attitude."
