The Commitment

The Colorado football coaching staff has known about Borghi for quite some time as he plays at in-state Pomona High School, which is where current Buffs Jake Moretti and Dylan Middlemiss played their prep ball.

As mentioned, Borghi was offered five days ago - during Borghi's junior day visit. He was thrilled to receive the offer from the Buffs.

"I was really excited. It's awesome," Borghi said. "It's Pac-12 football in my backyard. It's an awesome atmosphere, and I can go play with my buddy Jake Moretti. You can't beat that."

Borghi informed the coaching staff of his intentions to play his college football in Boulder on Thursday.
