THE COMMITMENT

Gustav was impressed by Colorado in that they were the first school to offer him a scholarship. He wasn't expecting a big time program like Colorado to be the first school on board.

"It meant the world to me," Gustav said. "I was never expecting it. I thought it would start with small schools and then slowly get offers from bigger schools. This offer was pretty crazy."

Colorado didn't just offer Gustav and move on to looking at different prospects at his position. Gustav emerged as a big time recruit for Colorado, and they hosted him for a visit early in March.

"I thought it was great," Gustav said about his visit. "I really love the University; I love the program. There are some great things going on there. I liked the defensive coaches; they were super nice to me.
