The No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 ranked teams had not all lost on the same weekend since 1985. No. 2 Clemson lost to Pittsburg, No. 3 Michigan lost to Iowa 14-13, and No. 4 Washington lost to No. 20 USC 26-13.
More teams within the College Football Playoff Ranking Top 10 would lose as No. 8 Texas A&M lost to Ole Miss 29-28, and No. 9 Auburn would lose to unranked Georgia 13-7.
Long story short, the CFB Playoff Ranking Top 10 went 5-5 this weekend. With Colorado beating Arizona Saturday evening, you have to wonder, where will the Buffs be ranked come Tuesday evening when the College Football Playoff Committee comes together to rank the new top 10 teams in America.
