With the news of Thomas Akyazili and Bryce Peters not returning to the Colorado basketball program next season, the Buffs return just seven scholarship basketball players (or eight, depending on if Alexander Strating is put on scholarship).
The Buffs have already signed three 2017 basketball recruits in forward Evan Battey, guard D'Shawn Schwartz, and forward Tyler Bey.
A division one basketball program is allowed 13 scholarships, so the Buffs still have room to bring in more recruits. CUSportsNation.com breaks down the targets still left on the board for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Rundown: Back in March, the three-star center announced a top five consisting of Nevada, Boston College, Colorado, Purdue, and Texas Tech. Ondigo finished up his high school basketball in Connecticut, but he is from Arizona and has moved back home. Ondigo has unofficially visited Boston College and is visiting Purdue for an official visit today (April 6). Look for Ondigo to officially visit Colorado before it's all said and done. He will likely wait to make his college decision near the end of the basketball signing period in May.
