One of Colorado's recent football recruiting offers went out to the state of Tennessee on Monday.

Tanner Antonutti from Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth was the recipient of the offer.

"I started talking to Colorado and talked to them for about a month or two," Antonutti said. "Once I picked up my first big offer, which was from Tennessee, they kind of stopped talking to me. Then [Coach Adams] texted me [Monday morning] saying that he was going to stop by my school.

"After that, he told me to give him a call, so I gave him a call during my free period. That's when he offered me."

Antonutti, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound three-star prospect, is listed as a tight end on his Rivals.com profile, but the majority of schools recruiting him are looking at him as an offensive tackle.

Tight ends might get more notoriety than offensive tackles, but Antonutti is "perfectly fine" with playing tackle in college. He just loves the game of football.
