Colorado Football Signee: Delrick Abrams Jr.

Colorado got a big boost to their secondary as Independence (Kan.) C.C. cornerback Delrick Abrams signed with the Buffaloes. He will come to Colorado as a junior with a redshirt year available. Abrams was offered by Colorado defensive coordinator DJ Eliot and grew a close relationship with Eliot over the course of his recruitment. He also has become close with his future cornerbacks coach ShaDon Brown. Abrams has excellent size for a cornerback as he stands at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds. Abrams was offered by Oregon on Monday but he stuck with the Buffaloes.

Quotable: "One reason I picked them is because I felt comfortable there," Abrams said. "They do the same stuff [on defense] that I do right now. When I went to visit, it just felt like home."
