Colorado hosted Independence C.C. (Kan.) cornerback Delrick Abrams Jr. for an official visit from Wednesday to Friday.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder was offered by Colorado during the spring evaluation period, and the CU staff made it a priority to get Abrams on campus.

"It went pretty well," Abrams said of the visit. "Boulder is a nice place to be at and I liked the coaching staff. The players were nice.

"My favorite part was seeing the mountains and meeting the coaching staff. I liked hanging with the players and seeing what everyone does."
