Colorado landed Braedin Huffman-Dixon this week, and the Buffs added another 2019 prospect to their commit list, as another southern California star has pledged to CU.
Orange (Calif.) Lutheran cornerback KJ Trujillo announced his commitment to Colorado over Oregon and others on Wednesday night.
"I know that the coaches there are real genuine and they're going to push for me to succeed academically and athletically," Trujillo said about his decision to commit to CU. "I think this decision is more than football itself -- it's a lifelong decision because I know after football, there are great connections there, and great alumni."
Trujillo officially visited Colorado last weekend -- with Huffman-Dixon -- and the visit ultimately put Colorado on top.
"The love shown by the coaches, players, other students and fans was awesome," Trujillo said. “I learned a lot of new things about Colorado. I’m touched by the love and support the whole staff has shown me and how genuine they are and care about me and my future as a man in life."
Trujillo, who ranks as the No. 73 overall recruit in the state of California, becomes the Buffaloes sixth commitment of CU's 2019 class, which is star studded.
Huffman-Dixon is the headliner, but Trujillo and Ty Evans are highly touted recruits as well.
Colorado was the fourth school to offer Trujillo, coming back in September of last year.
Trujillo will be a strong recruiter for CU, as he's very well connected with big time prospects in southern California.
ShaDon Brown's "Money Gang" just got better with the commitment of Trujillo.
