The last four recruiting cycles, Arvada (Colo.) Pomona has produced three FBS offensive line prospects. The Panthers have another in the pipeline for 2018.

Ezekiel Creps received his first scholarship offer from Colorado State, and earlier this week, he added an offer from Colorado.

“It feels amazing; it's a surreal experience,” said Creps, who is still finishing up his sophomore year but already stands 6-foot-3.75, 303-pounds. “I was worried about how I am going to get to college and now that I am getting offers, it is a huge relief for me.”

Creps received his offer from the Buffaloes during what he called “a good conversation” with offensive line coach Klayton Adams.

“He said that he likes that I am staying on top of my grades, and I am so big but I still know how to move,” Creps said. “He said just to stay in shape and keep working hard, and that is what I plan to do.”

Creps attended one of the Buffs' Junior Day events earlier this spring, and he plans to return to Boulder for another unofficial visit in the future.

“I am always in the weight room, I call it my second home. And they have very, very nice facilities at CU. They have a pretty good educational program, too, so I think that is really good," he said. "Their education and their facilities really stood out to me.”

Creps has also been up to Colorado State, and he has plans to camp with the Rams this summer.

“It was a Junior Day that I went to at CSU as well,” he said. “It is a very nice school. I think both CU and CSU are nice schools. Trying to figure out what school is best for me is going to be tricky.”

Most prospects says academics will play a big role in their college decision, but because Creps is hoping to study Aerospace Engineering in college, it is not just lip service.

“Education is the most important when it comes to life,” he said. “I am open to everything. I mean, Colorado is a great state and I love Colorado. I am open to wherever, whoever else wants to offer me or wants to talk to me. It really just depends on the education and how I feel about the school and the atmosphere.”

Creps excelled as a right tackle as a sophomore, and he is expected to man that role again during his junior campaign.

“I have a lot of core strength and I know the game very well,” Creps said when asked what he considers to be hist best attributes between the lines. “Not to sound cocky about it, but when my coach calls the play, I know exactly what to do.

“Knowing exactly what to do allows me to go even harder. My attention to detail is something I pride myself on. I watch a lot of film on the kids I am going up against before the game. I just really like to study and make sure I am fully prepared.”

Other offensive line standouts for the Panthers, Zach Stefo signed with Colorado State in 2014, Dillon Middlemiss signed with CU in 2015, and Pomona senior-to-be Jake Moretti is verbally committed to Ohio State.
