THE COMMITMENT

Colorado was the first Power Five conference school to offer Wallace a scholarship back on May 11. The Buffaloes instantly jumped to the top of his list, and it was just a matter of time before he would commit.

Wallace impressed the Colorado coaching staff at the Sacramento State camp in June, which solidified his scholarship offer. He also impressed coaches from Oregon State, and he landed an offer from the Beavers that day.

Wallace continued to keep in touch with the Colorado coaching staff, and unofficially visited this past weekend.

He had a one-on-one meeting with head coach Mike MacIntyre, and that's when Wallace pulled the trigger on a commitment.

"I picked the Buffs because that was the best school for me," Wallace said. "I felt comfortable there. The coaches showed me love. My mom wanted me to go there too because she felt comfortable about what was going on over there.
